- On 1/1/2026, Stella M Vandame (age 18) of Arkport, NY, was arrested for Burglary 2nd, Criminal Mischief 4th, and Petit Larceny.
Vandame was charged in relation to an incident in December, when she allegedly broke into a residence on Pringle Ave. She was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.
- On 1/1/2026, Richard F Hull Jr (age 47) of Batavia, was arrested for Harassment 2nd.
Hull allegedly pushed another person, during an altercation on East Main St. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
- On 1/4/2026, Scott E Moore (age 44) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4th.
Moore allegedly punched the windshield of another person’s vehicle on Hull Pk. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1/20/2026.
- On 1/8/2025, Amy P Rasmussen, Jessica L Culver, and Thomas A Culver were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
The trio was arrested following a traffic stop on Main St, where narcotics were allegedly found in the vehicle. Rasmussen was also charged with another count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, in relation to another traffic stop in October, when she was allegedly found in possession of narcotics. All three were issued appearance tickets and are due in court on 1/20/2026.
- On 1/5/2026, Preston S Daigler (age 27) of Batavia, was arrested on a Bench Warrant.
The warrant was issued after Daigler failed to appear in court on a Criminal Mischief 3rd charge for allegedly throwing a brick through the window of another person’s car, in July of 2025. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
- On 1/1/2026, Kevin Q Thomas (age 62) of Batavia, was arrested for Trespass.
Thomas was charged after allegedly going to a residence on Hall St that he had previously been trespassed from. He was arraigned in CAP Court and an order of protection was issued. On 1/3/2026, Thomas again returned to the residence on Hall St, in violation of the order of protection. He was charged with Burglary 2nd and Criminal Contempt 2nd. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
- On 1/1/2026, Mark D Hensel (age 65) of Batavia, was arrested for Harassment 2nd.
Hensel allegedly grabbed and pushed another person, during an altercation on East Main St. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
- On 1/1/2026, Fedor N Chizh (age 74) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.
Chizh was charged following a motor vehicle accident on Hyde Pk, where he allegedly crashed into a road sign, a fire hydrant and a fence. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
- On 1/3/2026, Halley M McLane (age 21) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.
McLane was charged after allegedly being involved in a motor vehicle accident on East Main St. She was issued several traffic tickets and released.
- On 12/31/2026, Jessica D Delcour (age 43) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
The charge stems from an incident in June of 2025, when Delcour was allegedly found in possession of narcotics. She was released on an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1/13/2026.
- On 12/30/2026, Tawnya L Muscato (age 35) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.
Muscato was charged following a traffic stop on Woodrow Rd. She was issued several traffic tickets and is due in court on 1/13/2026.
- On 1/1/2026, Desiree L Britt (age 33) of Rochester, was arrested for DWI.
Britt was charged following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident, at the corner of Oak St and Pickthorn Dr. She was issued several traffic tickets and released.
- Between 1/1/2026 and 1/6/2026, Elizabeth A Lindner (age 39) of Batavia, was arrested a total of five times.
Lindner was arrested twice for Trespass and three times for Soliciting, after allegedly asking people for money at various locations around Batavia. She was issued appearance tickets in all five cases and released.
- On 1/7/2026, Samuel J Hernandez (age 23) of Batavia, was arrested for Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
Hernandez allegedly stole merchandise from The Salvation Army on Jackson St. During his arrest, he was allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1/20/2026.
