• On 10/21/2024, Douglas G Goodwin Jr (age 33) of Alabama, was arrested on a warrant for Petit Larceny.

Goodwin allegedly stole a gold chain, from another person on 9/19/2024. Goodwin was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

• On 10/17/2024, Alicia M Lyons (age 45) of Batavia, was arrested for Resisting Arrest.

It’s alleged that Lyons physically resisted police, when they attempted to arrest her on multiple active warrants. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

• On 10/17/2024, Tek B Giri (age 46) of Scottsville, was arrested for DWI.

Giri was arrested after police received a complaint of an erratic driver. Officers located stopped the vehicle on Clinton St. Giri was issued several traffic tickets and released. He is due in Batavia City Court, on 10/23/2024.

• On 10/20/2024, Mark J Schultz (age 38) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.

Schultz was stopped by police on West Main St, after an officer observed him driving without any tail lights. Schultz was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was issued several traffic tickets and released. He is due in court, on 11/6/2024.

• On 10/16/2024, Francis A Coombs III (age 57) of Batavia, was arrested on an arrest warrant.

Coombs was initially arrested on 8/25/2024 and charged with Criminal Mischief 4^th. He was issued an appearance ticket, but failed to appear in court. Coombs was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. He is due back in court, on 11/7/2024.

• On 10/16/2024, Carolyn L Kurek (age 82) of Batavia, was arrested for Unlawful Imprisonment 2^nd and Harassment 2^nd.

It’s alleged that Kurek blocked another person from leaving a room at an apartment building on West Main St. She then allegedly struck the person, with her cane. Kurek was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court, on 10/22/2024.

• On 10/19/2024, Arnold B Colopy (age 67) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Trespass 2^nd.

It’s alleged that Colopy unlawfully entered an apartment on School St. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court, on 10/30/2024.
