Police Blotter - Week of 9/18/2022

Arrests

  1. Harassment 2nd; Resisting Arrest, 10:41 AM, Thursday, September 15, 2022, Bank St. – On 9/16/2022, Matthew S. WILLIAMS, M/34, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for Resisting Arrest after he allegedly fled from Officers who were attempting to detain WILLIAMS on pending warrants. WILLIAMS was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit, and was released to Genesee County Sheriff’s Office at the jail on warrants out of their office. After WILLIAMS was released from GC Jail staff, he allegedly threw a juice cup at a Batavia Police Officer, striking the officer in the back. WILLIAMS was then additionally charged with harassment.
     
  2. Criminal Mischief 3rd; Obstructing Governmental Administration, 9:45 PM, Saturday, September 10, 2022, Ellsworth Ave. – On 9/11/2022, Aaron T. HENDERSHOT, M/26 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 3rd after he allegedly damaged property during a domestic incident. HENDERSHOT was later located by an officer on Ellicott St., and fled on foot. Officers pursued HENDERSHOT and took him into custody near a residence on Ellicott St. HENDERSHOT was arraigned in BCC and released. Scheduled to appear on 9/22/2022 at 1:30 PM.
     
  3. Driving While Intoxicated - Drugs; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd; Inadequate lights, 2:09 AM, Monday, May 23, 2022, Ellicott St. Rd. – On 9/13/2022, Nicole K. DELL, F/36 of Warsaw, NY, was arrested for the included charges following an investigation after she allegedly operated a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. DELL was issued appearance tickets and released. DELL is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 9/21/2022.
     
  4. Obstruction of Governmental Administration; Aggravated Harassment; Falsely Reporting an Incident, 12:53 AM, Tuesday, September 13, 2022, Liberty St. – On 9/13/2022, Jamie S. KRAFT, M/37 was arrested on the above charges after he allegedly made numerous false reports and threatening phone calls to 911 Dispatch from 9/12/2022 through 9/13/2022. KRAFT was released on an appearance ticket to appear in BCC on 9/20/2022.
     
  5. Driving While Intoxicated; Aggravated DWI; Moved from lane unsafely, 2:44 AM, Sunday, September 11, 2022, W. Main St. – On 9/11/2022, Dylan J. WILSON, M/26 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charges after an investigation following a traffic stop. WILSON was allegedly found to be operating a motor vehicle with a BAC >.18%. WILSON was issued appearance tickets and is to appear in BCC on 9/21/2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  6. Harassment 2nd Degree, 3:18 PM, Saturday, September 10, 2022, Swan St. – On 9/10/2022, Christina L. HOLLEY, F/19 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for harassment 2nd degree after she allegedly struck another person during a physical domestic altercation. Christina was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court on 9/20/2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  7. Failure to Appear, 1:45 PM, Tuesday, August 30, 2022, Ellicott St. – On 9/10/2022, Cassandra L. ELMORE, F/30 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on active arrest and bench warrants out of Batavia City Court. ELMORE was also arrested on the new charge of obstruction of governmental administration following the execution of the warrants. ELMORE was arraigned in front of Judge BURNS who remanded ELMORE to the GC Jail in lieu of a combined $5,000 cash bail. ELMORE is scheduled to appear back in BCC on 9/15/2022 at 1:30 PM.
      
  8. Criminal Contempt 2nd; Criminal Trespass 2nd, 7:57 PM, Sunday, September 11, 2022, Ellsworth Ave. – On 9/12/2022, Aaron T. HENDERSHOT, M/26, of Auburn, NY, was arrested on the aforementioned charges. HENDERSHOT was remanded to GCJ in lieu of bail. HENDERSHOT is scheduled to reappear in BCC at a later date.
     
  9. Criminal Trespass 2nd, 1:43 PM, Monday, September 5, 2022, Hutchins St. – On 9/5/2022, Jarrod K. FOTIATHIS, M/27, Homeless, and Julie R. RICHARDSON, F/31, Homeless were arrested on the above listed charge after they were allegedly found trespassing inside an abandoned residence. FOTIATHIS and RICHARDSON were processed, issued appearance tickets returnable to BCC on 9/13/2022 at 1:00 PM and released.
     
  10. Strangulation 2nd; Assault 3rd; Petit Larceny, 6:26 PM, Monday, August 29, 2022, Cedar St. – On 9/3/2022; James W. ZUREK, M/19 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charges. ZUREK allegedly assaulted an individual in a parking lot on Cedar Street. ZUREK was arraigned in Batavia City Court and is set to return to Batavia City Court on 9/14/2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  11. Harassment 2nd; Trespass; Resisting Arrest, 12:18 AM, Saturday, September 10, 2022, Main St. – ON 9/10/2022, Timmy J. FRAZIER, M/65, Homeless was arrested for trespassing in a local business. While City Police were attempting to arrest FRAZIER, he attempted to strike one of the police officers and then resisted arrest by not complying with the police. FRAZIER was issued an appearance ticket that is scheduled to appear in City Court on a later date.
     
  12. Criminal Contempt 1st; Harassment 2nd, 12:00 AM, Friday, August 26, 2022, Lincoln Ave. – On 9/9/2022, Cameron A. COLES, M/29 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charges after he allegedly threatened another person, in violation of an order of protection. COLES was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge BURNS and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. He is due back in court on 9/15/2022.
     
  13. Grand Larceny 4th, 6:45 PM, Thursday, September 8, 2022, Bank St. – Jamie L. BROADBENT, F/39, Homeless, was arrested on 9/10/2022, after she was allegedly located at a local business with a stolen E-Bike. BROADBENT was given an appearance ticket returnable to Batavia City Court on 9/20/2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  14. Burglary 3rd; Petit Larceny, 1:09 AM, Monday, August 22, 2022, E. Main St. – Ericc P. DOLEMAN, M/52 of Pembroke, NY, was arrested for the above listed charges following an investigation into a larceny complaint at a local business. DOLEMAN allegedly entered the business and took a package from within. DOLEMAN was arraigned in Batavia City Court and is scheduled to return to BCC at a later date.
     
  15. Criminal Mischief 2nd, 8:39 AM, Sunday, September 11, 2022, Ellicott St. – On 9/11/2022, Aaron T. HENDERSHOT, M/26 of Auburn, NY, was arrested for criminal mischief. Officers had HENDERSHOT under arrest with HENDERSHOT began to repeatedly kick both rear doors of the patrol car, allegedly causing significant damage. HENDERSHOT was arranged at Batavia City Court and released with a return date of 9/22/2022 at 1:30 PM.
     
  16. Burglary 3rd; Petit Larceny, 9:43 PM, Monday, September 12, 2022, W. Main St. – On 9/12/2022, at approximately 9:43 PM, Matthew R. TAYLOR, M/39, Homeless was arrested for the above charges at a local business on W. Main St. TAYLOR has previously been trespassed from the business, however, allegedly entered the business and stole alcoholic beverages. TAYLOR was arraigned in BCC and held, to appear on 9/14/2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  17. Burglary 3rd; Petit Larceny, 12:00 AM, Tuesday, August 23, 2022, Pearl St. – Amber L. TURNER, F/29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for Burglary in the 3rd and Petit Larceny. The arrest stems from an investigation conducted by the Batavia Police Department Patrol Division and Detective Bureau. It is alleged that TURNER unlawfully entered and remained in a local business for the purpose of stealing from therein. TURNER was arraigned in Batavia City Court before Judge Rogers and later ROR’d. TURNER is to reappear in Court at a later date.
     
  18. Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd; Petit Larceny, 10:30 AM, Friday, August 13, 2022, Pearl St. – Amber L. TURNER, F/29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd and Petit Larceny. The arrest stems from an investigation conducted by the Batavia Police Department Patrol Division and Detective Bureau. It is alleged that TURNER possessed a forged check which was provided to another person to deceive them in exchange for money. TURNER was arraigned in Batavia City Court before Judge Rogers and later ROR’d. TURNER is to reappear in Court at a later date.
     
  19. Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd, 1:44 PM, Saturday, August 14, 2022, S. Main St. – Amber L. TURNER, F/29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree. The arrest stems from an investigation conducted by the Batavia Police Department Detective Bureau. It is alleged that TURNER possessed a forged check which was provided to another person to deceive them in exchange for money. TURNER was arraigned in Batavia City Court before Judge Rogers and later ROR’d. TURNER is to reappear in Court at a later date.
