Police Blotter - Week of 8/14/2022

Arrests

  1. Petit Larceny, 12:30 PM, Tuesday, July 12, 2022, W. Main St. – On 8/4/2022, Batavia Police arrested Karrie A. MORROW, F/39, of Batavia, NY, on Batavia City Court Arrest Warrant #2022-00202. MARROW was arraigned in BCC in front of Judge ROGERS. MARROW was RUS and is scheduled to appear back in BCC on 8/24/2022.
     
  2. Harassment 2nd, 7:07 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2022, Wood St. – Dustyn W. WILCOX, M/37 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for the violation of Harassment 2nd Degree after he allegedly threatened a neighbor during a dispute. WILCOZ was issued an appearance ticket for the offense and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on August 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  3. Harassment 2nd; Menacing 3rd, 5:09 PM, Monday, August 8, 2022, Oak St. – On 8/8/2022, Gregory W. HOUSEKNECHT, M/31 of Batavia, NY was arrested on the above listed charges. HOUSEKNECHT allegedly threatened harm to family members by means of physical menace during an argument. HOUSEKNECHT was processed at BPDHQ, arraigned in BCC before Judge Burns and was released with a return date of 8/18/2022 at 1:30 PM.
     
  4. Criminal Contempt 2nd, 12:30 AM, Tuesday, August 9, 2022, East Ave. – Gregory W. HOUSEKNECHT, M/31 of Batavia, NY was arrested on East Ave. after he allegedly violated an Order of Protection that had been issued following a domestic incident the previous day in which he was arrested. HOUSEKNECHT was arraigned in Batavia City Court in front of Judge Rogers and was held on bail. HOUSEKNECHT is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 8/25/2022 at 1:30 PM.
     
  5. Trespass, 11:48 AM, Monday, August 8, 2022, E. Main St. – Timmy J. FRAZIER, M/65 of Tonawanda, NY, was arrested on the above charge. Police were called to a business on E. Main St. for a male who was on location and was refusing to leave. Once Officers arrived on scene, the male was advised to again leave the property and refused to do so. FRAZIER was then placed under arrest for Trespassing. FRAZIER was processed and then released on an appearance ticket and is due back in BCC on 8/23/2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  6. Dog Running at Large, 4:34 PM, Wednesday, August 3, 2022, Woodrow Rd. – On 8/3/2022, Benjamin A. BOYCE, M/41 of Batavia, NY, was issued a ticket for dog running at large after he allegedly failed to maintain control of his dog and let it run into a neighbor’s yard. BOYCE is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 8/23/2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  7. Failure to Appear on Appearance Ticket, 5:56 PM, Sunday, May 22, 2022, S. Spruce St. – On 8/7/2022, Officer POST arrested Jason H. FREEMAN, M/40 of Batavia, NY, on an active arrest warrant out of Batavia City Court for obstruction of governmental administration. FREEMAN was arraigned in front of Judge ROGERS of the Batavia City Court. ROGERS released FREEMAN under supervision with a return court date of 8/24/2022 at 1:00 PM.
