Arrests

1. Harassment 2^nd; Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th; Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd; Menacing 2^nd; Grand Larceny 4^th, 8:30 AM, Wednesday, June 22, 2022, Lewis Pl. – Marvin K. BARBER Jr. M/37 of Lackawanna, NY, was arrested on the above listed charges. Officers were called to a physical domestic where the suspect fled the scene. After conducting an investigation and making contact with BARBER, he turned himself into police custody. BARBER was arrested and arraigned in BCC and was held. BARBER is due back in BCC on 6/19/2022 at 1500 HRS.  
    
2. Criminal Mischief 4^th, 9:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2022, Miller Ave. – On 6/17/2022, Andrew J. DRAPER, M/43 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charge. DRAPER allegedly damaged property at the residence during a domestic incident. DRAPER was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. DRAPER is due back in Batavia City Court on 6/23/2022 at 1:30 PM.
    
3. DWI; DWI: BAC >.08% or more; Resisting Arrest; Using Mobile Phone while driving, 8:39 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2022, E. Main St. – On 6/18/2022, Dorsie MCGILL Jr., M/37 of Batavia, NY, was arrested after an investigation into a traffic stop. It is alleged that MCGILL had operated his motor vehicle while being intoxicated by alcohol with a BAC of .08% of more. MCGILL was processed by City Police and released with an appearance ticket. MCGILL is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on a later date.
    
4. Assault 3^rd; Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 12:00 PM, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, River St. – Brianna L. WAY, F/31 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for Assault 3rd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child less than 17 following a child abuse investigation conducted by Det. Jason Ivison and Genesee County Child Protective Services. WAY is accused of punching and kicking a 9-year-old child causing injury, shoving the child’s head as punishment and forcing the child to watch a TV-MA child murder documentary titled “The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez” while telling the child that it could be him. WAY was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released on her own recognizance following the issuance of an order of protection.
    
5. Burglary 2^nd; Criminal Mischief 4^th; Criminal Tampering 3^rd, 12:01 PM, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Holland Ave. – On 6/20/2022, Ledaga K. WRIGHT, F/31 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, and Criminal Tampering 3rd Degree after WRIGHT allegedly caused damage inside of an apartment. WRIGHT was arraigned in front of Judge ROGERS of BCC who released WRIGHT on her own recognizance. WRIGHT is scheduled to return to BCC on 7/12/2022 at 2:00 PM.
    
6. Disorderly Conduct; Harassment 2^nd, 8:18 PM, Monday, June 20, 2022, State St. – On 6/20/2022, Latoya D. JACKSON, F/36 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charges. JACKSON threatened to fight multiple people during an altercation at an address in the City of Batavia. JACKSON was processed, issued an appearance ticket returnable to BCC on 6/21/2022 at 1:00 PM, and released.
    
7. Harassment 2^nd, 8:18 PM, Monday, June 20, 2022, State St. – On 6/20/2022, Nick A. HAWKINS, M/38 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charge. It’s alleged that HAWKINS threatened another person during an altercation on State St. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 6/21/2022.
    
8. DWAI - Drugs; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd, 10:53 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2022, Ellicott St. – On 6/17/2022, Andrew J. DRAPER, M/43 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for an incident that took place on 5/14/2022. While investigating the traffic stop, it is alleged that DRAPER was impaired by crack-cocaine. DRAPER was issued several UTT’s and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on a later date.
    
9. Criminal Contempt 1^st; Harassment 2^nd, 1:17 PM, Friday, June 17, 2022, W. Main St. – On 6/18/2022, Andew J. DRAPER, M/43 of Batavia, NY, was arrested after an investigation into a domestic incident. It is alleged that DRAPER had violated a “Refrain from” order of protection by striking the protected party during the incident. DRAPER was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. DRAPER is scheduled to appear back in Batavia City Court on a later date.
    
10. Bench Warrant, 6:01 PM, Tuesday, December 7, 2021, Ellicott St. – On 6/17/2022, Michael J. HILTON, M/31, no permanent address, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued out of Batavia City Court. HILTON was arraigned and held on bail, to appear on 7/7/2022.
     
11. Criminal Tampering 3^rd; Criminal Mischief, 7:52 PM, Friday, June 17, 2022, W. Main St. – ON 6/17/2022, Daniel R. YATES, M/52 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charges. It’s alleged that YATES damaged property inside a grocery store on W. Main St. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 6/28/2022.
     
12. Criminal Contempt 2^nd, 1:10 AM, Tuesday, October 12, 2021, W. Main St. – Maurice D. BISHOP, M/36, of Rochester NY, was arrested on the above listed charge following the execution of an arrest warrant. BISHOP was arraigned in Batavia City Court in front of Judge BURNS and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. A temporary stay away order of protection was issued protecting the victim in this case. BISHOP was given a return court date of 7/7/2022 at 1:30 PM.
