Police Blotter - Week of 12/4/2022

Arrests

  1. Petit Larceny; Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st Degree, 11:30 PM, Tuesday, September 6, 2022, E. Main St. – Demetrius W. RICHARDSON, M/41, Homeless, was arrested on three Batavia City Court Arrest Warrants, with a total of four counts of each of the above listed charges, following a traffic stop. RICHARDSON was arraigned in BCC and remanded to GCJ without bail. RICHARDSON is scheduled to appear in BCC on 12/21/2022.
     
  2. Sex Abuse 3rd, 3:00 PM, Monday, November 28, 2022, Bank St. – James W. CASON, M/67 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charge after it was alleged that he subjected another person to unwanted sexual contact. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court. He was issued an Order of Protection to stay away from the victim and was released under his own recognizance. CASON is scheduled to reappear in BCC on 12/8/2022 at 1:30 PM.
     
  3. Petit Larceny, 9:00 PM, Monday, September 26, 2022, Jackson St. – Jeannine M. MOBLEY, F/46 of LeRoy, NY, was arrested on the above charge. Officers were called to a business on Jackson St. on 9/26/2022 for a larceny complaint. After an investigation into the incident, MOBLEY was arrested. MOBLEY was arraigned in BCC on 11/28/2022 and was ROR’d. MOBLEY is due back in court on 12/21/2022 at 3:00 PM.
     
  4. Petit Larceny, 3:19 AM, Saturday, November 26, 2022, E. Main St. – Tonya M. WEBER, F/38 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on 11/26/2022 at about 3:25 AM, following an investigation into an alleged larceny from a local business on E. Main St. WEBER was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court on 12/06/2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  5. Harassment 2nd; Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, 1:35 AM, Thursday, November 24, 2022, Chase Pk. – Joshua P. MOORE, M/32 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on 11/24/2022 at 3:00 AM following an investigation into a domestic incident. MOORE was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge ROGERS. MOORE was released on his own recognizance. MOORE is due to return in Batavia City Court on 12/7/2022 at 2:00 PM.
     
  6. Grand Larceny 4th, 6:30 PM, Thursday, November 17, 2022, E. Main St. – Julie R. RICHARDSON, F/31, Homeless, was arrested on 11/19/2022 for the listed charge. RICHARDSON is alleged to have stolen property consisting of a credit card from a parked vehicle at a local business. RICHARDSON was arraigned in BCC at 10:29 AM, by Judge BURNS. RICHARDSON was held with no bail, and is scheduled to return to BCC on 12/1/2022 at 1:30 PM.  
     
  7. Petit Larceny; Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th, 10:50 PM, Friday, November 11, 2022, E. Main St. – Julie R. RICHARDSON, F/31, Homeless, was arrested on 11/19/2022 following an investigation into a larceny from vehicles at a local business. RICHARDSON allegedly entered the vehicles, took property from within, and later was located with an item taken from the vehicle. RICHARDSON was arraigned in Batavia City Court and held without bail. RICHARDSON was given a return date of 12/01/2022 at 1:00 PM to answer for these charges.  
     
  8. DWI – Common Law; DWI >.08% BAC; Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle, 2:49 PM, Monday, November 21, 2022, Batavia City Centre. – On 11/21/2022, Christopher P. ROBINSON, M/24 of Amherst, NY, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the City of Batavia. ROBINSON was allegedly operating his motor vehicle intoxicated. ROBINSON is to appear in Batavia City Court on 11/30/2022 at 9:00 AM.
     
  9. Criminal Contempt 2nd; Criminal Contempt 1st, 12:00 PM, Friday, November 11, 2022, Oak St. – Shyanna M. WILLIAMS, F/19 of Hamburg, NY, was arrested on the above listed charges after it was alleged that she contacted the protected party of a stay away order of protection via text message, numerous times over several days. WILLIAMS was arraigned in Batavia City Court before Judge ROGERS. WILLIAMS was released under supervision of Genesee Justice and is scheduled to reappear in BCC on 12/13/2022 at 3:00 PM.  
     
  10. Petit Larceny, 11:20 AM, Saturday, November 26, 2022, W. Main St. – On 11/26/2022, Colleen A. WISNIEWSKI, F/28, of Middlebury, NY, was arrested for petit larceny after allegedly shoplifting at a local store on W. Main St. WISNIEWSKI was issued an appearance ticket and released with a return date of 12/13/2022 at 1:00 PM.
     
  11. Criminal Contempt 2nd, 5:00 AM, Monday, November 14, 2022, School St. – Charles R. BROWN, M/47 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above stated charge on 11/21/2022 following an investigation into a violation of an order of protection. BROWN allegedly engaged in conversation with the protected party, at the protected party’s home, in violation of a valid order of protection. BROWN is to appear in Batavia City Court to answer to this charge on 12/06/2022 at 1:00 PM.
