Call for sponsorships with proceeds to support City of Batavia Police K-9 program
BATAVIA, NY – The City of Batavia Police Department, in partnership with The City Church, today announced that the 2021 Community Night Out event will take place on Tuesday, August 10th from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Church on 114 Liberty Street in Batavia.
Batavia Police Community Night Out is an annual event that is intended to foster and enhance relationships between the community and the police department. Similar events take place in communities across New York State and the country. Proceeds from the Community Night Out event in Batavia will support the City of Batavia Police K-9 program. The celebration will include free food, bounce houses for the kids, games, horses, vendors at various booths and more.
There are various opportunities for sponsorships for the Community Night Out Event. A Diamond Sponsor is at the $2,500 and above level; Gold Sponsors from $500 up to $2,499; Silver Sponsor from $250 to $499; and, Bronze Sponsor at $249 or less. The deadline for submitting a sponsorship is Thursday, July 23rd.
“Community Night Out has been a very successful annual event that brings members of the community together with the Batavia Police Department in an collaborative effort to demonstrate unity and camaraderie which is more important than ever in these turbulent times,” said Batavia Police Chief Shawn Heubusch. “An important component of these efforts is the financial support we receive from the community, particularly among our partners in business and government.”
