1. Latoya D Jackson (age 37) of State Street in Batavia, is charged with resisting arrest while being arrested on four bench warrants.

On 2/10/2023 PO Gombos arrested Latoya Jackson for bench warrants issued by BCC.  Jackson was a passenger in a traffic stop.  While Officers were attempting to arrest Jackson, she allegedly refused to comply with verbal commands and resisted being handcuffed.  The first warrant stemmed from an incident on 6/20/2022, on State Street, where Jackson was charged with Harassment Second and released on an appearance ticket after which she failed to appear.  The second warrant was issued after Jackson was arrested for Criminal Contempt Second on 6/28/2022 for an incident on E Main Street, issued an appearance ticket, and failed to appear.  The third warrant was issued for a trespass arrest on 7/8/2022 at an apartment complex on E Main Street where Jackson was issued an appearance ticket and subsequently failed to appear.  The fourth warrant was issued after Jackson was arrested on 8/27/2022 for Criminal Contempt First, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Harassment Second during an incident on State Street, issued an appearance ticket, and failed to appear.  Jackson was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Part Court on 2/11/2023 at 9:30 am and released to appear at a later date on her own recognizance. 

2. Joseph C Jeffords (age 31) of Chestnut Street in Batavia is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Seventh.

On 2/06/2023 PO Mruczek arrested Joseph Jeffords on an arrest warrant issued by BCC for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Jeffords was released on his own recognizance and is due back in BCC on 3/08/2023 at 2:00pm.

3. Raymond J Vickers (age 55) of Dellinger Avenue in Batavia is charged with Petit Larceny and Harassment Second.

On 2/02/2023 PO Mruczek arrested Raymond Vickers for Petit Larceny and Harassment Second following an incident at a local business.  Vickers was released on an appearance ticket to appear in BCC on 2/21/2023 at 1:00 pm.

4. Jason S. Neth (age 28) of Alleghany Road in Corfu is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Suspended Registration and Speeding.

On 2/05/2023 PO Weglarski conducted a traffic stop with Jason Neth in the City of Batavia.  Neth was allegedly speeding and the vehicle was suspended.  Neth was arrested for DWI following an investigation and issued tickets to appear in BCC on 2/02/2023 at 9:00am.

5. Amber L Turner (age 29) of South Main Street in Batavia is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Seventh and Unlicensed Operator.

On 2/10/2023 PO Gombos conducted a traffic stop on S. Main Street.  During the investigation of the traffic stop, Police K9 Batu alerted to the inside of the vehicle where Amber Turner allegedly concealed a quantity of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and had been operating the vehicle without a license.  Turner was issued an appearance ticket to appear in BCC at a later date.

6. James N Difalco (age 26) of South Main Street in Batavia is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Seventh.

On 2/10/2023 PO Gombos conducted a traffic stop on S. Main Street.  During the investigation of the traffic stop, Police K9 Batu alerted to the inside of the vehicle where James Difalco allegedly concealed a quantity of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.  Difalco was issued an appearance ticket to appear in BCC at a later date.
