1. An 18 year old male of Washington Ave in Batavia is charged with Criminal Contempt 1^st and Assault 3^rd.

On 2/1/23 the 18 year old male was arrested by PO Defelice for Criminal Contempt 1^st and Assault 3^rd after a domestic incident investigation where it is alleged he was involved in a physical altercation and violated an order or protection.  The individual was arraigned at Batavia City Court by Judge Burns and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $500A, $2000B and $5000E. 

2. Michael A Shetler (age 32) of Judge Road in Oakfield is charged with Criminal Contempt, Aggravated Family Offense, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. 

On 1/27/23 PO Weglarski arrested Michael Shetler after an investigation in to a 911 hangup.  It is alleged that a domestic incident took place with a party protected by an order of protection and that Shetler fled the scene in the victim’s car.  Shetler was held at the Genesee County Jail to await arraignment.

3. Taylor M Peyman (age 31) of Washington Ave in Batavia is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1^st, Aggravated DWI BAC .18% or Higher, DWI Second Offense, Failed to Yield the Right of Way and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.

On 1/28/23 PO Gombos arrested Taylor Peyman for the above charges after an investigation into a hit and run accident that occurred on Jackson Street.  It is alleged that Peyman struck another vehicle head on and then drove away.  The other motorist involved in the accident pursued Peyman on foot and gave his location to police when he parked in a parking lot on E. Main St.  Peyman was arrested for the above charges after performing field sobriety tests.  Peyman was issued traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in Batavai City Court on 2/8/23 at 0900 hrs.

4. Jessica L Holtz (age 39) of William Street in Batavia was arrested on two Bench Warrants.

On 1/29/23 PO Crossett arrested Jessica Holtz after she was released from Monroe County Jail.  Holtz had two outstanding Bench Warrants issued by Batavia City Court.  The first warrant was issued in regards to a petit larceny incident from a local business in November of 2021.  The second warrant pertains to a petit larceny incident from a local church in November of 2021.  Holtz was held at Genesee Court Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part Court.

5. Krista S Kiblin (age 32) of Mason Ave in Rochester is charged with Petit Larceny.

On 1/27/23 PO Defelice arrested Krista Kiblin for Petit Larceny after she allegedly shoplifted from a local business.  Kiblin was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court on 2/14/23 at 1:00pm.

6. Matthew J Brown (age 38) of Chestnut Street in Batavia is charged with Owning/Harboring an Unlicensed Dog.

On 1/30/23 PO Rissinger arrested Matthew Brown for Owning/Harboring an Unlicensed Dog.  Brown is alleged to have failed to license a dog after being instructed to do so.  Brown was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court on 2/14/23 at 1:00 pm.

7. Jason W Lebar (age 37) of Bethany Center Rd in Bethany is charged with Criminal Mischief 3^rd and Petit Larceny.

On 2/1/23 PO Quider arrested Jason Lebar on an arrest warrant issued by Batavai City Court for the above charges.  It is alleged that during the overnight hours of August 25, 2022, while at a local car dealership, Lebar pried the emblem from the rear of a pickup truck.  This act caused significant damage.  Lebar is additionally alleged to have attempted to remove another emblem, destroying it in the process.  Lebar was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released to reappear in Batavia City Court at a later date.

8. Kyle J Schroeder (age 26) of Clinton Street in Batavia was arrested on four warrants from Batavia City Court.

On 1/28/23 PO Freeman arrested Kyle Schroeder on four bench warrants issued by Batavia City Court.  The first bench warrant was issued in regards to an arrest on charges of Criminal Trespass and Petit Larceny on 4/25/22.  The second bench warrant was issued in regards to an arrest for Driving While Ability Impaired by Combined Influence of Drugs and Alcohol and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on 5/11/22. The third bench warrant was issued for Schroeder’s arrest for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on 8/25/22.  The fourth bench warrant was issued in regards to an arrest for Criminal Mischief on 10/03/22.  Schroeder was held at the Genesee County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
