1. Michael R. Ostrander (age 58) of East Main Street in Batavia is charged with Criminal Contempt Second.        

On 7/25/2022 Michael Ostrander was arrested for Criminal Contempt Second after a domestic incident investigation and released on an appearance ticket.  Ostrander failed to appear and a bench warrant was issued by Batavia City Court.  Ostrander was arrested by PO Defelice on the warrant, arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Burns, released under supervision and is set to return on 1/30/23 at 1:30pm.

2. Robert D Griffin (age 44) of State Street in Batavia is charged with Criminal Contempt Second and Aggravated Family Offense (more than one offense within five years).

On 1/19/23 Robert Griffin was arrested by PO Yung for Criminal Contempt Second and Aggravated Family Offense (more than one offense within five years) after an investigation in to a domestic incident.  Griffin was turned over to the Genesee County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part Court. 

3. Nasir C Nathan (age 27) of Walnut Street in Batavia is charged with Gang Assault 1^st Degree.

On 1/22/23 Nasir Nathan was arrested for Gang Assault 1^st Degree.  It is alleged that Nathan participated in a gang assault on 10/4/2019 on Highland Park in Batavia.  Nathan was arraigned in Batavia City Court and held on bail set at $10,000 A, $20,000 B, and $40,000 E.  Nathan is set to return to Batavia City Court on 2/14/23 at 1:00pm. The incident was investigted by Officer Wilson, members of the Detective Bureau and arrest made by Officer Yung.

4. Robert D Griffin (age 44) of State Street in Batavia is charged with Criminal Contempt 1^st.

On 1/23/23 Robert Griffin was arrested by PO Yung for Criminal Contempt 1^st after allegedly being in the presence of a protected party in violation of a stay away order of protection.  Griffin was turned over to the Genesee County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part Court.

5. Joseph C Jeffords (age 31) of Chestnut Street in Batavia is charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

On 1/23/23 Joseph Jeffords was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle by PO Martinez.  It is alleged that Jeffords borrowed a friend’s vehicle to go to Rochester on 12/28/22 and did not return it.  Jeffords was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 2/7/23 at 1:00pm.

6. Anthony L Vanelli (age 45) of Federal Drive in Batavia is charged with not appearing for a Petit Larceny arrest.

On 1/23/23 Anthony Vanelli was arrested by Sgt. Coffey on a warrant issued by Batavia City Court.  Vanelli was originally arrested and given an appearance ticket for Petit Larceny on 5/2/22 after allegedly stealing a kit kat candy bar and a nitro Pepsi can from a local business.  Vanelli was arraigned on the warrant and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $1 bail pending his next court appearance on 2/1/23.

7. Robert A Shuttleworth (age 64) of Gaslight Ln in Batavia is charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2^nd, Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance, and Operate a Motor Vehicle by an Unlicensed Driver.

On 1/20/23 Robert Shuttleworth was arrested by PO Mruczek and arraigned in Batavia City Court on a warrant issued for Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2^nd, Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance, and Operate a Motor Vehicle by an Unlicensed Driver.  Shuttleworth is to reappear in Batavia City Court on 2/14/23 at 2:00pm.

8. Shelby L Fryer (age 27) of Prune Street in Batavia is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Operating a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% or More Alcohol in Blood and Unlicensed Driver.

On 1/22/23 Shelby Fryer was arrested on a bench warrant out of Batavia City Court for the above charges.  Fryer was originally arrested on 10/17/2021 and issued traffic tickets. Fryer was held for arraignment in Centralized Arraignment Part Court. Original case was handled by Officer Gombos and warrant arrest handled by Officer Weglarski.

9. Jessica B Saeli (age 33) of Morse Pl in Batavia is charged with Criminal Contempt 1^st, Assault 3^rd, and Unlawful Imprisonment 2^nd.

On 1/18/23 Jessica Saeli was arrested on a bench warrant issued by Batavia City Court for Criminal Contempt 1^st, Assault 3^rd, and Unlawful Imprisonment 2^nd.  The charges stem from a domestic incident on 9/16/22 where Saeli was arrested, arraigned and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice until her return.  Saeli was turned over on the bench warrant to the Genesee County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part Court. Original incident was handled by Officer Lindsay and Officer Moscicki, warrant arrest was handled by Officer Rissinger.

10. Adam M White (age 36) of North Lyon Street in Batavia is charged with equipment violations and Driving While Intoxicated.

On 1/15/23 Adam White was arrested by PO Weglarski for DWI following a traffic stop.  White was turned over to the Genesee County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part Court.

11. Dustin T Forkell (age 31) of Hulberton Rd in Holley is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4^th (motor vehicle).

On 1/21/23 Dustin Forkell was arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4^th after he was allegedly found to be in possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Forkell was turned over to the Genesee County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part Court. The case was handled by Officer Rissinger and members of the Detective Bureau.

12. Bradley R Jordan (age 30) of Liberty Street in Batavia is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief 4^th, and Aggravated Family Offense.

On 1/20/23 Bradley Jordan was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief 4^th, and Aggravated Family Offense after an investigation in to a domestic incident.  Jordan was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Part Court and held without bail until his next appearance. The case was investigated by Officer Freemand and Sgt. Cowen.
