1. Jason W Whitehead (age 25) of Bank Street in Batavia is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7^th, possession of a narcotic with the intent to sell, harassment 2^nd, resisting arrest and use of drug paraphernalia 2^nd.

On 04/16/2023 PO Gombos and Sgt. Lindsay arrested Jason WHITEHEAD on the above listed charges. Batavia Police Officers located WHITEHEAD, who had an active warrant for his arrest, walking on Bank St. WHITEHEAD fled on foot when Officers attempted to arrest him. A private citizen assisted Officers in stopping WHITEHEAD and taking him into custody. WHITEHEAD was then found to be in possession of a quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia. WHITEHEAD was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on no bail. WHITEHEAD is scheduled to appear back in Batavia City Court on 04/25/2023 at 1400 hours.

2. Joseph C Jeffords (age 32) of Chestnut Street in Batavia is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3^rd.

On 04/09/23 PO Quider arrested Joseph Jeffords for two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3^rd.  Jeffords was allegedly in possession of various narcotic drugs upon being arrested on multiple warrants.  Jeffords was arraigned in Batavia City Court and custody remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of bail.  Jeffords is set to reappear in Batavia City Court on 5/02/23.

3. Josia G Culver (age 18) of Tracy Avenue in Batavia is charged with burglary 3^rd and criminal mischief 4^th.

On 4/15/23 PO Freeman arrested Josia Culver for burglary 3^rd and criminal mischief 4^th following an investigation into a burglary at a restaurant on Ellicott Street on 4/14/23.  Culver was brought to the Genesee County Jail to await arraignment at Centralized Arraignment Part Court.  Status unknown.

4. Josia G Culver (age 18) of Tracy Avenue in Batavia is charged with another burglary 3^rd, petit larceny and criminal mischief 4^th.

On 4/16/23 PO Post arrested Josia Culver for the above charges after it is alleged that he broke in to a restaurant located in the mall and stole money from the register.  Culver was held at the Genesee County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part Court.  Status unknown. 

5. Lori A Wittkopp (age 61) of Spencer Court in Batavia is charged with aggravated DWI of .18% or more BAC and driving while intoxicated.

On 4/14/23 PO Gombos arrested Lori Wittkopp for the above charges at a local gas station after an investigation in to a complaint where it was alleged that she had been operating her motor vehicle while intoxicated.  Wittkopp was issued several traffic tickets scheduled for Batavia City Court at a later date and released.

6. Kendra Q Thomas (age 35) of Dellinger Avenue in Batavia is charged with harassment 2^nd and endangering the welfare of a child.

On 4/15/23 PO Rissinger arrested Kendra Thomas for harassment 2^nd and endangering the welfare of a child.  It is alleged that Thomas engaged in a physical altercation with a juvenile.  Thomas was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court on 5/02/23 and released.
