1. Cassandra F Smith (age 37) of Manhattan Avenue in Batavia is charged with two counts of petit larceny.

On 4/08/23 PO Crossett arrested Cassandra Smith for petit larceny.  It is alleged that Smith first stole various items from a yard on Manhattan Avenue.  Smith is also alleged to have stolen items from another porch on Manhattan Avenue.  Smith was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court on 4/18/23 at 1:00 pm.

2. Cassandra F Smith (age 37) of Manhattan Avenue in Batavia is charged with criminal trespass second.

On 4/12/23 PO Martinez arrested Cassandra Smith for criminal trespass second.  It is alleged that Smith entered and remained unlawfully inside an apartment on Washington Avenue where she left a note for the victim to find when they returned home.  Smith was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Part Court and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court at a later date.

3. Cassandra F Smith (age 37) of Manhattan Avenue in Batavia is charged with criminal mischief fourth.

On 4/12/23 PO Freeman arrested Cassandra Smith for criminal mischief in the fourth degree.  It is alleged that Smith spray painted an apartment door, doorbell camera, and a van in the driveway of a residence on Washington Avenue.  Smith was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Part Court, status unknown.

4. Joseph C Jeffords (age 32) of Chestnut Street in Batavia was arrested on two bench warrants issued by Batavia City Court.

On 4/09/23 PO Post arrested Joseph Jeffords on two bench warrants issued by Batavia City Court for failing to appear. The first warrant was issued after Jeffords was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on 1/23/23, issued an appearance ticket, and then failed to appear.  The second warrant was issued after Jeffords was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance seventh on 2/06/23, arraigned, released on his own recognizance, and then failed to appear.  Jeffords was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Part Court, status unknown.

5. Salvatore Dellapenna (age 54) of Vine Street in Batavia is charged with criminal mischief.

On 4/08/23 PO Yung arrested Salvatore Dellapenna for criminal mischief after he allegedly damaged a neighbor’s front door by kicking it.  Dellapenna was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court on 4/18/23 at 1:00pm and released.

6. Patricia M Anderson (age 38) of Buell Street in Batavia is charged with petit larceny, operating a motor vehicle while the registration is suspended, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle third.

On 4/09/2023, PO Moscicki arrested Patricia M. Anderson for the above charges. It is alleged that Anderson filled a shopping cart with $139 worth of items and left a local business on E Main Street without paying. The investigation also discovered that Anderson allegedly operated a motor vehicle while her license was suspended and while said vehicle's registration was suspended. Anderson was released with an appearance ticket to appear in BCC on 4/25/23 at 1:00pm.

7. Modesto O Cardenas (age 29) of Pearl Street in Batavia is charged with harassment in the second degree.

On 4/01/23 PO Gombos arrested Modesto Cardenas for harassment in the second degree after an investigation in to a disturbance.  Cardenas was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Part Court, status unknown.

8. Linda L Snyder (age 40) of Creek Road in Batavia was arrested for bench warrants issued by Batavia City Court and charged with bail jumping in the third degree.

On 4/05/23 PO Post arrested Linda Snyder on bench warrants issued by Batavia City Court for harassment, criminal mischief, and animal cruelty charges.  Additionally, Snyder was charged with bail jumping in the third degree because she failed to appear in court as directed after being released on her own recognizance from a criminal proceeding.  Snyder was arraigned in Batavia City Court and custody remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.  Snyder is scheduled to appear back in Batavia City Court on 4/12/23 at 4:00 pm.
