ARRESTS

1. DWI/DWI >.08% BAC/No or inadequate headlamp, 9:30PM, Monday, March 8, 2021, W. Main St. at Montclair Ave. – Julie ROESSER F/31, was arrested on the above listed charges following a traffic stop conducted after patrol observed a VTL violation. ROESSER was released on UTT’s returnable to Batavia City Court on 6/15/2021.

1. Custodial Interference/Arrest Warrant, 8:56 PM, Saturday, January 30, 2021, East Ave. – Shuvon WILLIAMS F/55, turned herself in on an active Batavia City Court Arrest Warrant. The charges stemmed from an allegation involving the violation of a custody agreement where a child was not returned as specified. The defendant was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court on 6/8/2021.

1. Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 5:06 PM, Monday, March 1, 2021, Columbia Ave. – Nina EASTERBROOK-KELSO F/36, was arrested on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree when she allegedly left THC laced edible candies in a place where they were accessible to children. EASTERBROOK-KELSO was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Batavia City Court on 5/12/2021.

1. Harassment 2^nd Degree/Strangulation 2^nd Degree, 3:40 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2021, Vine St.  – Aaron ZIMBLIS M/57, was arrested following a physical altercation that occurred in an upper apartment on Vine St. ZIMBLIS was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 5/4/2021.

1. Criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument/Speed in Zone/Operating vehicle while registration is suspended/Operating motor vehicle without insurance/Operating Motor Vehicle with no license plate displayed, 10:12 PM, Friday, March 5, 2021, Clinton Park -  Lisa FOX F/49, was arrested on the above date and time on the aforementioned charges following a traffic stop where she was allegedly observed traveling at a high rate of speed on East Ave. in a vehicle that did not have affixed license plates. FOX was issued several UTT’s and was subsequently found in possession of hypodermic instruments. FOX was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 5/11/2021.

1. Petit Larceny/Arrest Warrant, 9:30 PM, Monday, January 4, 2021, Bank St. -  On March 8, 2021, Nateeka GIBSON F/31, was arrested on a Batavia City Court Arrest Warrant for Petit Larceny. It is alleged that on 1/4/2021, GIBSON stole $20.00 cash from another person while being a guest at their residence. GIBSON was virtually arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Rogers while in Monroe County Jail, where she was being held on unrelated charges. GIBSON was held on $1.00 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 4/14/2021.

1. DWI/DWI >.08% BAC/Failed to Keep Right/Failed to use designated lane, 10:29 PM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021, W. Main St. at Ellicott St. – Kristen LAZARONY F/36, was arrested on the aforementioned charges following a traffic stop on Ellicott St. where it was alleged to that LAZARONY failed to maintain her lane and failed to use her designated lane while operating a motor vehicle intoxicated (0.16%BAC). LAZARONY was released on UTT’s, returnable to Batavia City Court on 6/8/2021.

1. Criminal Contempt 2^nd Degree/Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (AUO) 2^nd Degree/Operating in violation of ignition interlock restriction/Unlicensed Operation/Un-inspected Motor Vehicle, 9:48 PM, Sunday, February 28, 2021, W Main St. at Dellinger Ave. – Robert GERETY JR. M/47, was arrested on the above listed charges following a traffic stop. During the traffic stop it was discovered that GERETY was actively violating an order of protection with a passenger in the vehicle. GERETY was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Rogers. GERETY was remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 4/1/2021.  

1. Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (CPCS) 3^rd Degree/ CPCS 4^th Degree/ Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2^nd Degree/ Menacing 2^nd Degree/ Criminal Mischief 4^th Degree, 4:45 PM, Tuesday, March 2, 2021, W Main St. – Shawn PETERKIN M/43 was arrested on the aforementioned charges. It is alleged that PETERKIN threatened another person with a knife at a residence on W. Main St. and damaged property inside. PETERKIN then left the scene and was found in the backyard of a residence on Woodrow Rd, where he allegedly damaged a fence. PETERKIN was arrested and found to be in possession of a large amount of crack cocaine, fentanyl, prescription pills and marijuana. PETERKIN was arraigned by Judge Rogers and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail. PETERKIN is due back in Batavia City Court on 4/7/2021.

1. Criminal Contempt 1^st Degree/Arrest Warrant, 12:00 AM, Monday, January 26, 2021, W Main St. – Robert GERETY JR. M/47, was arrested on the aforementioned charge. During a traffic stop GERETY was found to have an active Batavia City Court Arrest Warrant. GERETY was subsequently arrested and arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Rogers. GERETY was remanded to the Genesee County Jail and is scheduled to return on 4/1/2021.
