Arrests

  1. Arrest Warrant – Harassment 2nd Degree, 11:45 AM, Tuesday, July 6, 2021, E. Main St. – Kay E. DILKER, F/31 of Albion, NY was arrested on the above charge following the execution of an arrest warrant. DILKER was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge ROGERS and was released on her own recognizance with an order of protection issued. DILKER is scheduled to re-appear in BCC on 9/14/2021 at 1400HRS.
     
  2. Bench Warrant – Failure to Appear, 11:35 AM, Thursday, July 8, 2021, Ellicott St. – On 9/3/2021, Officer POST arrested Antonio GOODSON, M/31 of Batavia, NY, on two active warrants out of Batavia City Court following his failure to appear. GOODSON was arraigned in front of Judge ROGERS who released GOODSON under the supervision of Genesee Justice. GOODSON is scheduled to appear back in BCC on 9/14/2021 at 1400HRS.
     
  3. Criminal Contempt 1st Degree w/ Physical Contact; Criminal Contempt 1st Degree w/ prior contempt conviction; Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 28, 2021, Thomas Ave. – NiAsia S. JIGGETS, F/30, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the listed charges following a child abuse investigation conducted by Detective Jason Ivison in conjunction with Child Protective Services. JIGGETTS is accused of violating an order of protection by causing injury to the protected party, a seven-year-old child, during visitation. JIGGETTS was previously convicted of violating an order of protection with the same child in March, 2021 which elevates the new charge to Criminal Contempt 1st Degree. JIGGETTS was convicted of assaulting this same child on multiple occasions in the past which resulted in serious physical injury and was sentenced to probation which she is on now.

    JIGGETTS is currently being held in the Genesee County Jail ion $1,000 bail, $2,000 bond, and $4,000 partially secured bond.
     
  4. Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree, 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 26, 2021, W. Main St. – Loretta A. KNAPP, F/46 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charge after being served a subpoena and failing to appear in court. KNAPP was issued an appearance ticket scheduling her to appear in Batavia City Court on 9/28/2021 at 1:00PM.
     
  5. Petit Larceny; Trespass, 2:29 AM, Sunday, August 29, 2021, Bank St. – On 9/5/2021, Spike C. POPE, M/18 of Haywards Heath, England was arrested on the above listed charges. The arrest follows a larceny of an American Flag that occurred on Bank St. The investigation was assisted by the NYSP, who were investigating several similar larcenies on Bank Street Rd. POPE was released on an appearance ticket. POPE is scheduled in BCC on 9/121/2021.
     
  6. Harassment 2nd Degree, 4:30 PM, Saturday, September 4, 2021, S. Main St. – On 9/4/2021, Officer POST arrested Anthony UNDERWOOD, M/21 of Buffalo, NY, for harassment in the second degree after UNDERWOOD allegedly pushed his girlfriend during a dispute. UNDERWOOD was arraigned in front of Judge ROGERS of the Batavia City Court. Judge ROGERS released UNDERWOOD on his own recognizance with a return court date of 9/14/2021 at 1400HRS.
     
  7. Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree, 5:19 AM, Sunday, September 5, 2021, Oak St. – Ray S. SAILE, M/19 of the Tonawanda Indian Reservation, NY, was arrested at 10:28 AM on the listed charge. SAILE is alleged to have violated a stay away OOP, after police were called to a local hotel, and found SAILE to be occupying a room with the protected party. SAILE was issued an appearance ticket returnable to BCC on 9/14/2021 at 1:00 PM, and released.  
     
  8. Trespass, 9:03 PM, Sunday, September 5, 2021, Ellsworth Ave. – On 9/5/2021, Heather M. DAVIS, F/44 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a charge of trespass. The charge stems from an incident where DAVIS, allegedly, went to an ex-boyfriend’s residence and started a bonfire while awaiting the arrival of said ex-boyfriend. DAVIS was processed, issued an appearance ticket to appear in BCC on 9/21/2021 at 1300HRS and released.
