Arrests

1. Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th, 1:50 AM, Saturday, July 31, 2021, East Ave. – On 7/31/2021, at approximately 01:50AM, Officer GOMBOS conducted a traffic stop on East Ave. During the subsequent investigation, Karrie MORROW, F/38 of Batavia was arrested for the aforementioned charge. Batavia Police Department K-9 Batu alerted on MORROW’s purse in the front passenger seat of the vehicle which contained the illegal contraband. MORROW was processed at the Genesee County Jail and issued an appearance ticket.
    
2. Criminal Contempt 2^nd Degree, 2:55 AM, Sunday, July 18, 2021, Edward St. – On 8/2/21, Luis SANTIAGO-ARROYO, M/33 of Batavia was arrested on the above listed charge. The arrest follows an investigation on a violation of an OOP, where allegedly SANTIAGO called the protected party. SANTIAGO was released on an appearance and is scheduled in BCC on 8/17/21.
    
3. Bench Warrant, 1:00 PM, Monday, August 2, 2021, W. Main St. – Alex DUMBLETON, M/28 of Batavia was taken into custody in Rochester on three Bench Warrants for failing to appear as directed and one Arrest Warrant. The Arrest Warrant was for Burglary 2nd and Criminal Contempt 2nd. DUMBLETON was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded on cash bail pending his next court appear on 8/25/21 at 1:00PM.
    
4. Petit Larceny, 5:22 PM, Wednesday, July 28, 2021, Ellicott St. – On 8/1/21, Officer POST arrested Carlene MAHONEY, F/59 of Batavia for petit larceny following an incident at a local grocery store where Mahoney allegedly took products without paying on July 28th, 2021. MAHONEY was released on an appearance ticket with a return court date of 8/17/2021 at 1:00PM.
