Arrests

1. Harassment 2^nd; Criminal Contempt 1st, 7:53 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2022, Chandler Ave. – Angie C. MANIACE, F/40 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charges following an investigation into an incident where she allegedly struck a protected party of an order of protection. MANIACE was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to BCC on 3/8/2022 at 1:00PM, and released.
2. Harassment 2^nd; Criminal Contempt 1^st, 7:53 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2022, Chandler Ave. – On 3/2/2022, Laura R. MROZ, F/32 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for criminal contempt in the first degree and harassment in the second degree following a disturbance. MROZ was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in BCC on 3/8/2022 at 1:00PM.  
    
3. Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2^nd; Failure to stop for a stop sign; Unregistered Motor Vehicle; Uninsured Motor Vehicle; Uninspected Motor Vehicle, 1:14 AM, Sunday, February 13, 2022, E. Main St. – Julius L. SANFORD, M/29 of Buffalo, NY, was arrested on the above listed charges following an investigation on a traffic stop. SANFORD was arraigned in BCC and released on his own recognizance. SANFORD is scheduled to appear in BCC on 4/6/2022.
    
4. Criminal Mischief 4^th, 4:18 AM, Saturday, September 25, 2021, Highland Pk. – On 3/1/2022, Derrick M. WILLIAMS, M/32 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on an arrest warrant out of Batavia City Court. The warrant was issued following a case where WILLIAMS, allegedly, damaged property at a residence in Batavia in September, 2021. WILLIAMS was arraigned in BCC before Judge Rogers and released. WILLIAMS is due back in BCC on 4/6/2022 at 1400HRS.
    
5. Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th; Inadequate headlamp, 3:15 AM, Wednesday, March 2, 2022, Elm St. – The Defendant, Michelle D. ULICKEY, F/45 of Batavia, NY, was stopped in the area of E. Main St. for allegedly driving with no headlights. After further investigation it was found that ULICKEY was allegedly in possessi9on of cocaine. ULICKEY was released on appearance tickets.
    
6. Theft of Services, 10:03 AM, Sunday, February 20, 2022, River St. – On 2/28/2022, Cameron J. SOKOLOWSKI, M/29 or Batavia, NY, was arrested after an investigation into a complaint where it is alleged that SOKOLOWSKI refused to pay for his cab fare. It is alleged that SOKOLOWSKI accepted a ride from a taxi driver and when SOKOLOWSKI reached his destination, he went inside and refused to come back out to pay the driver. SOKOLWOSKI was arrested and issued an appearance ticket to appear in City Court on a later date.
    
7. Petit Larceny, 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 20, 2022, Jackson St. – On 2/28/2022, Benito A. GAY, M/33 of Batavia, NY, was arrested after an investigation into a larceny from a local business. It is alleged that GAY had taken three beers from the cooler of a gas station and exited the store without paying for the beer. GAY was arrested and issued an appearance ticket to appear in City Court on a later date.
    
8. Bench Warrant, 6:01 PM, Tuesday, December 7, 2021, Ellicott St. – On 2/23/2022, Tonya M. WEBER, F/38 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on an active bench warrant out of Batavia City Court for conspiracy and petit larceny. WEBER was arraigned in front of Judge BURNS of BCC. Judge BURNS released WEBER under supervision of Genesee Justice with a return court date of 3/10/2022 at 1330HRS.
