Arrests

1. Criminal Obstruction of Breathing; Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Harassment 2nd, 6:45 AM, Monday, November 29, 2021, Tracy Ave. – On 11/29/2021, Dean C. SIMINSKI, M/32 of Batavia NY, was arrested on the above charges. It’s alleged that SIMINSKI engaged in a physical altercation with a juvenile during a domestic incident. SIMINSKI was arraigned in Batavia City Court, by Judge Rogers. He was remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $2,500 cash, $5,000 bond and $15,000 surety bond. He is due back in court on 12/15/2021.
2. Petit Larceny, 7:30 AM, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, North St. – Crystal A. MOUNTS, F/44 of Batavia NY, was arrested on the above charge following an incident on North St. where she allegedly stole a package from a porch. MOUNTS was arrested and issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in BCC on 12/7/2021 at 1:00PM for arraignment.
3. Petit Larceny, 8:00 AM, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, Summit St. – Crystal A. MOUNTS, F/44 of Batavia NY, was arrested on the above charge following an incident on North St. where she allegedly stole a package from a porch. MOUNTS was arrested and issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in BCC on 12/7/2021 at 1:00PM for arraignment.
4. Criminal Contempt 2^nd Degree; Burglary 2^nd Degree, 12:15 PM, Wednesday, November 24, 2021, School St. – On 11/24/2021, Christopher C TAYLOR, M/21 of Conesus NY, was arrested on the included charges. TAYLOR was allegedly observed by Batavia Police Officers inside of the home of a person with whom TAYLOR is the subject of a stay-away order of protection. TAYLOR was processed at BPD, arraigned before Judge ROGERS in BCC and held on $5,000 A, $10,000 B, and $20,000 E. TAYLOR is due back in BCC on 12/07/2021 at 2:00PM.
5. Theft of Services; Criminal Contempt 2^nd Degree, 8:00 AM, Thursday, November 4, 2021, Ellicott St. – On 11/24/2021, at approximately 5:05PM, John HOBBS, M/34 of Batavia, NY, was arrested at GCJ for Theft of Services and Criminal Contempt. It is alleged that on 11/4/2021, HOBBS left a local restaurant without paying for his meal, and was there in the presence of a protected party of an order of protection. HOBBS was issued an appearance ticket, and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 12/07/2021, at 1:00PM.
6. Petit Larceny, 10:39 AM, Thursday, November 18, 2021, Jackson St. – Jessica HOLTZ, F/38 or Batavia NY, was arrested for the above listed charge following a shoplifting investigation that occurred on Jackson St. on 11/18/2021. HOLTZ was issued an appearance ticket and released. HOLTZ is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 12/07/2021, at 1:00 PM.
7. Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; Driving While Intoxicated, 2:13 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2021, Oak St. – On November 27, 2021, the defendant, Miya R. HOUSEMAN, F/21 of Medina NY, was arrested following an investigation into a disabled vehicle complaint on Oak St. Upon further investigation, HOUSEMAN was allegedly intoxicated while driving her vehicle. HOUSEMAN was issued appearance tickets, and is due to appear in BCC on December 7th, 2021.  
8. Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Criminal Contempt 2^nd Degree, 10:36 AM, Saturday, November 20, 2021, N Lyon St. – Kimberly BLUE, F/33 of Batavia NY, was arrested for the above listed charges following an investigation which began on 11/20/2021, when it was reported that several children under the age of 10 were left unsupervised for several hours. The children were unharmed and turned over to relatives while officers were still investigating the incident as well as Child Protective Services being notified. BLUE was issued an appearance ticket and directed to appear in Batavia City Court on 12/07/2021 at 1:00PM. BLUE was released.
