At 12:07am on July 12, 2023 Officers from the City of Batavia Police Department were dispatched to the area of Holland Avenue for a reported disturbance involving 10-15 individuals. The caller also reported hearing gunshots in the area. As Officers arrived on scene multiple individuals were seen fleeing. Officers quickly located a female with a single gunshot wound. The injured female was taken to ECMC by ground ambulance, the status of her injuries are unknown at this time.
