NiAsia S. JIGGETS, F/30, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for 2 counts of Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, following a child abuse investigation conducted by Detective Jason Ivison in conjunction with Child Protective Services. JIGGETTS is accused of violating an order of protection by causing injury to the protected party, a seven-year-old child, during visitation. JIGGETTS was previously convicted of violating an order of protection with the same child in March, 2021 which elevates the new charge to Criminal Contempt 1st Degree. JIGGETTS was convicted of assaulting this same child on multiple occasions in the past which resulted in serious physical injury and was sentenced to probation which she is on now.

JIGGETTS is currently being held in the Genesee County Jail ion $1,000 bail, $2,000 bond, and $4,000 partially secured bond.
