Edward FREIDA M/49, was arrested following a domestic incident where FREIDA allegedly struck then strangled his girlfriend, causing her to lose consciousness. FREIDA then allegedly broke her cell phone after forcefully taking it from her. FREIDA was virtually arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $10,000 (A)/$20,000 (B)/$40,000 (C). FREIDA is scheduled to reappear in Batavia City Court on 5/20/2021
