The Thomasville Police Department is currently conducting a shooting investigation that occurred in the 300 block of West Jerger Street. On Monday, June 30, 2026 at approximately 6:19 PM, officers responded to a call of a person being shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male with a gun shot wound. The male was transported to Archbold Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. This remains an open and active investigation. Currently, there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
