Welcome to the Thomasville Police Department Crimewatch Portal. 

Law enforcement exists to serve the public by being an integral part of the community and by forging relationships to enhance its ability to solve problems and achieve a common goal – that of public safety. No community can function effectively without law enforcement and no law enforcement agency can function effectively without the community it serves. To that end, the Thomasville Police Department is composed of dedicated, professional men and women who are committed to serving the needs of the community. We seek to work together as we address the myriad of issues and concerns that face society with the goal of making a positive difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors. We work together with other agencies, with other aspects of local and regional government, and with you, our constituent groups, to solve problems by using a cross-functional approach. Please partner with us as we all have a role in achieving the goal of public safety.

The mission of this agency is carried out in the service we provide – day by day; call by call. Our efforts are geared toward just that, providing professional police services to the community in each interaction we have. So please let us know your needs, concerns, and ideas. If you need a police officer in an emergency, call 911. For non-emergency needs requiring police response, contact the Thomas County Communications Center (Dispatch) at (229) 226-2101.  For administrative issues, call our Administrative Offices at (229) 227- 3249.
