Do you have surveillance cameras outside your home or business? Your footage could be of great use to law enforcement when attempting to gather information about crimes in the area. If you are willing to check your cameras to assist in the investigation of crimes in Thomasville, please complete this form to register your security cameras with the Thomasville Police Department. In the event of a crime in your area, detectives may contact you to discuss whether your cameras may have captured valuable video evidence.

Any footage containing to/or related to criminal activity may be collected for use by Thomasville Police Department as evidence during any stage of a criminal proceeding.
Relevant information is reserved for official use by the Thomasville Police Department and will not be released to any member of the general public or press unless ordered to do so by a court of competent jurisdiction and/or a governmental agency with oversight authority over such information, including, without limitation, the Office of Open Records.
If necessary, the Thomasville Police Department will contact you directly using the information provided on this site to request the appropriate video surveillance footage.
Under no circumstances shall registrants construe that they are acting as an agent/or employee of the Thomasville Police Department through the camera registry program.
Under no circumstances shall the Thomasville Police Department utilize any information obtained to view footage/feeds directly from cameras owned by registrants.
