Accidents prior to June 1, 2024 can be requested through Lexis Nexis Reports. 

Accidents after June 1, 2024, can be requested through CRASHDOCS.org.

Does a traffic accident report include phone numbers for the insurance companies?

No, accident reports will only include the name of the insurance company, policy number, and policy expiration date. 

How do I get my vehicle out of impound?

Contact Prestige Towing at (303) 799-8840 to determine if there is a police hold on your vehicle. If your vehicle is available for release, make sure to bring your ID and proof of ownership, such as the title and/or registration. Prestige Towing can only release the vehicle to an individual whose name is listed on the vehicle title/registration. 

Will the police department remove an animal from my property, such as a stray cat or a dead animal?

No.  The police department nor Animal Control can remove animals from your property. Property owners will need to contact a private company.
