How to Request a Police Report
Copies of police reports can be obtained during office hours (M-F 8am-4:30pm). You will need to bring a government issued photo ID and case report number. To save time, it is recommended to complete a records request form prior to your arrival. Please note the name on the records request form must match the name on your photo ID. Associated fees to police reports can be referenced on the second page of the request form.
How to Request a Traffic Accident Report Online
Accidents prior to June 1, 2024 can be requested through Lexis Nexis Reports.
Accidents after June 1, 2024, can be requested through CRASHDOCS.org.
Traffic accident reports do not include telephone numbers for the insurance companies; it only includes the name of the insurance company, policy number, and policy expiration date.
