• On 9/2/2026, Joel Morales-Cruz (age 52) of Batavia, was arrested for Sex Abuse 1^st, Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 

It’s alleged that Morales-Cruz sexually abused a child, who was less than 11 years-old. He was arraigned in County Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

• On 9/2/2026, Parodyce K Warren (age 21) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Contempt 1^st and Criminal Mischief 3^rd.

Warren allegedly violated an order of protection by shoving another person and damaging two cell-phones, during a domestic incident on Liberty St. He was taken to the Genesee County Jail to be arraigned in CAP Court.

• On 9/3/2026, Maureen S Murphy (age 37) and Richard A Miller (age 40), were both arrested for Tampering with Physical Evidence, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd and Resisting Arrest.

Murphy and Miller allegedly fled on foot from a traffic stop on Elm St, where they attempted to conceal narcotics. Both were issued appearance tickets and released.

• On 9/8/2026, Cynthia M Stewart (age 45) of Batavia, was arrested for Grand Larceny 4^th, Petit Larceny and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Stewart allegedly stole a purse from Taco Bell on 9/3/2026. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 9/9/2026, John M Queen (age 44) and Mark D Tooley (age 43), were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th.

Queen and Tooley were charged following a traffic stop on Union St, where they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics. They were each issued an appearance ticket and released.

• On 9/6/2026, Caitlyn I Fitzpatrick (age 26) of Webster, was arrested for DWI.

Fitzpatrick was charged following a traffic stop on Union St. She was issued several traffic tickets and released.

• On 8/28/2026, Jacob T Monell (age 24) of Owego, was arrested for DWI.

Monell was charged following a traffic stop on West Main St. He was issued several traffic tickets and released.

• On 9/5/2026, Xavier M Green (age 27) of Batavia, was arrested for DWI.

Green was charged following a traffic stop on West Main St. He was issued several traffic tickets and released.

• On 9/2/2026, Michael S Mault (age 32) of Oakfield, was arrested for DWI.

Mault was charged following a traffic stop on West Main St. He was issued several appearance tickets and released.

• On 9/4/2026, Maureen S Murphy (age 37) of Batavia, was arrested on an arrest warrant for Petit Larceny.

Murphy allegedly stole property from a residence on Summit St. She was arraigned in CAP Court.

• On 9/3/2026, Cassandra L Brunea (age 53) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Contempt 2^nd.

Brunea allegedly yelled at another person, in violation of an order of protection. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
