Press Releases 8/23/2026

  • On 8/6/2026, Kasey A Clark (age 21) of Batavia, was arrested for Reckless Endangerment 1st, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer 3rd, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd, DWI and numerous traffic violations.

It’s alleged that Clark fled a traffic stop on Cedar St. Clark lead police on a pursuit that ended in the area of Center St and School St. He was transported to the Genesee County Jail, to be arraigned in CAP Court.

  • On 8/12/2026, Cordell R Palen (age 22) of Batavia, was arrested for Aggravated Family Offense, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd and Harassment 2nd.

Palen was charged following a domestic incident on Hutchins St. It’s alleged that Palen pushed another person and locked them in a room. He was processed and taken to the Genesee County Jail, to be arraigned in CAP Court.

  • On 8/14/2026, Eddie R Burnworth (age 34) of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, was arrested for Leandra’s Law DWI.

Burnworth was charged following a motor vehicle accident on Oak St. It’s alleged that Burnworth was operating a vehicle while intoxicated, with a 4-year-old child in the car. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

  • On 8/14/2026, Trevon L Armstrong (age 41) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4th and Harassment 2nd.

Armstrong allegedly slapped another person and broke their phone, during an altercation on Jefferson Ave. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

  • On 8/9/2026, Jack M Demarzo (age 24) of Batavia, was arrested for Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer 3rd, Reckless Endangerment 2nd and numerous traffic violations.

Demarzo allegedly fled a traffic stop on a motorcycle. Officers did not pursue the motorcycle, however Demarzo was identified and arrested later that evening. He was issued appearance tickets and released.

  • On 8/17/2026, Haley A Delaney (age 27) of Rochester, was arrested for DWI.

Delaney was charged following a traffic stop on East Main St. She was issued several traffic tickets and released.

  • On 8/9/2026, Jill M Turner (age 44) of Batavia, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd.

Turner was charged following an incident where it is alleged that her son was hanging out of a second story window, at their residence. When Police attempted to take her into custody, she allegedly resisted arrest. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.

  • On 8/9/2026, Cameron D Williams (age 22) of Batavia, was arrested for Harassment 2nd.

Williams allegedly punched another person, during an altercation on Pringle Ave. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

  • On 8/11/2026, Ellysa L Carder (age 31) of Niagara Falls, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.

Carder was arrested on a warrant for allegedly being found in possession of narcotics, during a traffic stop. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

  • On 8/15/2026, Brittney P Williams (age 29) of Albion, was arrested for Criminal Trespass 2nd and Harassment 2nd.

Williams allegedly forced her way into a residence on Dellinger Ave and threatened another person. She was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

  • On 8/16/2026, Michael J Cutitta (age 42) of Batavia, was arrested for Harassment 2nd.

Cutitta allegedly shoved a bartender at Kelly’s Holland Inn. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
