Culpeper Police Department Releases 2025 Annual Report

The Culpeper Police Department is proud to announce the release of our 2025 Annual Report—a reflection of our commitment, our progress, and our accountability to the community we are honored to serve.

We view this report as more than just numbers, it is a report card to our residents, businesses, and visitors. In 2025, our officers and professional staff remained dedicated to delivering the highest level of service, even as the demand for law enforcement services continues to grow.

We are encouraged to report meaningful progress. Overall crime has decreased at every level, including a reduction in violent crimes against individuals. These improvements are evident not only when compared to 2024, but also across a five-year average demonstrating sustained, forward momentum in keeping our community safe.

Additionally, while traffic enforcement efforts have increased, reportable traffic crashes have declined, an important indicator that proactive policing and community awareness are making a difference on our roadways.

These successes are not achieved alone. They are the direct result of strong partnerships with our residents, our business community, and those who visit Culpeper. Your engagement, trust, and collaboration with our officers and staff are what truly make our community a safe and vibrant place to live, work, and play.
