The Culpeper Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the above male suspect who was involved in multiple attempted prescription fraud transactions that took place at several local pharmacies on Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 at approximately 7:50 p.m.
Several prescriptions were called in at pharmacies in the area utilizing a Charlottesville medical professionals’ licensing information. The suspect then attempted to pickup the medications utilizing a false identification and was denied the medication by one of the pharmacies. The pictures, shown above, show the suspect leaving one of the stores after attempts were made to pickup one of the called-in prescriptions. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s or early 30’s with short black hair wearing a facial mask, white medical scrubs (top and bottom), a white long sleeved undershirt, and solid black shoes. He was seen leaving in a white pickup truck but the make/model/tag is not visible.
