A Message from the Chief of Police
It is an honor to serve as the Chief of Police for Newberry Township. I want to begin by expressing my sincere appreciation to the Township Supervisors for entrusting me with the responsibility of leading this department. Your confidence in my ability to guide our agency forward means a great deal, and I look forward to working closely with you to strengthen public safety throughout our community.
I also want to thank the dedicated men and women of the Newberry Township Police Department. During the transition period and throughout the executive search process, you continued to serve with professionalism, commitment, and resilience. Your steady presence and unwavering dedication to the residents of this township reflect the very best of our profession. I am proud to stand beside you as we move into this next chapter together.
My mission as Chief is clear: to provide top level police services to the citizens and visitors of Newberry Township while ensuring that every interaction is grounded in procedural justice, fairness, dignity, and transparency. These principles are not just ideals—they are the foundation of effective policing and the key to building trust with the community we serve.
I would also like to acknowledge the many individuals within the Pennsylvania State Police who helped shape me into the leader I am today. Their mentorship, guidance, and example instilled in me a deep respect for service, accountability, and the responsibility that comes with wearing this badge.
As we move forward, my commitment is to foster strong community partnerships, support the professional growth of our officers, and ensure that our department remains responsive, modern, and prepared for the challenges ahead. Newberry Township deserves a police department that is engaged, compassionate, and proactive—and that is exactly what we will continue to build together.
Thank you for welcoming me into this role. I look forward to serving you with integrity and dedication.
