**UPDATE** The child has been located and is safe.

The Batavia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing runaway child, Bathory Duda.

Bathory Duda, age 16, was last seen on October, 1st, 2025 around 11:30 PM leaving his residence on Kingsbury Ave. Bathory is described as 5'7", 114lbs, shaved head, and gray eyes.  He has two stud piercings beneath his lower lip, tattoos on his left forearm consisting of asterisks and symbols, "24" on his left hand near the thumb, and "Luke" on his right wrist.  He was last seen wearing light colored pants with a light colored tank top, and may be in possession of a hooded sweatshirt.

We are asking anyone who may have seen Bathory or has information about his whereabouts to contact the Batavia Police Department  immediately at (585)345-6350, or dial 911.
