On June 22, 2025, at approximately 22:30 PM, the Thomasville Police Department responded to a shooting incident at 631 Glenwood Drive.

The investigation revealed that a physical altercation occurred between the 44-year-old male victim and 46-year-old Reginald Arrington. During the fight, Arrington produced a firearm and shot the victim. Arrington fled the scene, while the victim sought assistance at a nearby residence and called 911.

The victim was transported to Archbold Memorial Hospital, where he is currently receiving medical treatment. A short time later, detectives made contact with Arrington, who subsequently turned himself in to authorities without incident.

Arrington is being held on the following charges: Aggravated Assault, Cruelty to a Child 2nd Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commision of a Crime, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
