As we gear up to celebrate, please remember that Lochbuie’s fireworks ordinance has changed this year. Knowing what’s allowed (and what’s not) helps keep our community safe—and avoids hefty fines! 💥

🚫 Illegal Fireworks
Anything that flies into the air or explodes is not allowed — that includes rockets, Roman candles, mortars, and bottle rockets.

✅ Legal Fireworks
You can still enjoy ground-based fireworks like fountains, sparklers, and ground spinners—available at Walmart, King Soopers, and other local stores.

💵 Fines
• First offense: $500
• Additional offenses: $1,000
