The Batavia Police Department is excited to host its annual Community Night, an event designed to foster a sense of community and build relationships between law enforcement and the citizens they serve. This year's event promises to be an unforgettable evening of fun, education, and connection.

Scheduled to take place on August 5, 2025 at the David M. McCarthy Memorial Ice Arena located at 22 Evans St. in the CIty of Batavia, the Batavia Police Community Night will feature a diverse range of vendors and booths, each offering a unique opportunity to engage with local organizations and services. From 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, attendees can explore the various stations, learn about the resources available to them, and interact with the dedicated men and women of the Batavia Police Department.

Some of the vendors and booths you can expect to see include:

• Local law enforcement agencies, showcasing their equipment and services
• Community organizations, providing information on support services and programs
• Health and wellness providers, offering free screenings and consultations
• Youth-focused groups, featuring activities and entertainment for kids of all ages
• Free food and refreshments
• Get a chance to dunk a cop in the dunk tank!
