On May 12, 2025, Dorian Veney was taken into custody.  

On May 5, at approximately 10:00 PM, Newberry Township Police officers responded to a reported noise disturbance in the 100 block of Rose of Sharon Drive. Upon arrival, officers located a white Nissan sedan occupied by two individuals. During the interaction, the male driver, attempted to flee by putting the vehicle in reverse, striking and injuring one officer. The driver then accelerated forward fleeing the scene.

Following an investigation, the driver of the vehicle was identified as Dorian Veney and a warrant was issued for his arrest for the following offenses:

• Two counts of Aggravated Assault
• Recklessly Endangering Another Person
• Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police
• Reckless Driving
• Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked

The Newberry Township Police Department would like to thank everyone who assisted in identifying and attempting to locate Veney including the U. S Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force and York County Sheriff’s Office.
