EMPLOYMENT FINGERPRINTING

In today’s age, more and more organizations are requiring applicants, potential employees, and volunteers to provide fingerprints and criminal history background checks prior to being hired or appointed.

It is vitally important that these checks be processed quickly, accurately and with as little hassle as possible. Employers, licensing agencies, applicants and public safety depend on it.

The Monroe County Central Booking Center, located at the Correctional Facility in Snydersville, provides employment and applicant fingerprinting to the general public.

Generally, the Central Booking Center provides this service during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. However, they will attempt to accomodate individuals that need fingerprinting services outside of these hours on a case-by-case basis.

The cost for this service is $25 payable by check or money order to the “County of Monroe”. You must present photo identification when fingerprinted.

When Arriving at Central Booking

  • Bring your fingerprinting paperwork and photo ID with you
  • Have a check or money order for $25 payable to the “County of Monroe”
  • Leave other personal belongings in your vehicle
  • Use the call box located near the gate to contact Facility staff

Directions to the Central Booking Center

The Monroe County Central Booking Center is located at the Monroe County Correctional Facility at 4250 Manor Drive Stroudsburg, PA 18360, near the PennDOT Driver’s License Center in Snydersville.

From Route 33 South, exit at the Snydersville exit and turn left. If traveling north on Route 33, turn right. The Correctional Facility will be on your left.

When facing the building, the Central Booking Center is located to the far right of the building, through the large gates. Approach the gate and use the call box to contact staff inside the facility, who will escort you into the Central Booking Center.
