Public Safety Announcement

On June 4, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., a Stroud Area Regional Police Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a male operating a motorcycle in a careless and reckless manner on Main Street in Stroudsburg, PA.

The operator of the motorcycle fled onto Interstate 80, exceeding maximum speed limits. The pursuit was terminated as the motorcycle was heading East on Interstate 80.

The Stroud Area Regional Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the male suspect operating the motorcycle.  Anyone with information on the identity of the operator is asked to "Submit a tip".  All tipsters can remain anonymous or leave contact information for the investigating officer.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.  THESE ARE MERELY ACCUSATIONS OF A CRIME.
