Any Complaints concerning Dallas Township (POLICE) personnel can be sent directly to the Dallas Township Municipal Building. Please mark all correspondence to the attention of the Chief of Police Douglas Higgins. The Dallas Township Police Department will thoroughly evaluate all reports of (OFFICER) misconduct. Anyone who files a complaint will be treated with fairness and respect.
- Complaints can be filed in writing at the Dallas Township Police Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Letters must be originals (no copies) and must contain an original signature.
- Complaint forms are available at the Dallas Township Police Department and on the WEB. When completing the Citizen Complaint Form, be sure to include all available information. Submit the original, with an original signature to the address below. Copies will not be accepted. It is suggested a copy be made for your own records.
- Any complaint of misconduct, including sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, may be reported directly to the Chief of Police.
- The Chief of Police may be contacted by calling (570) 674-2003 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
- During holidays and non-business hours, please leave a message including your name, address and phone number, and you will receive a return call the next business day.
