The West Lampeter Township Police Department responded to the area of Cliff Avenue and Conestoga Avenue after receiving a report that a 79-year-old male left his residence on foot and had not returned. The family was concerned for the male’s current health status. The male was last seen walking in this area at approximately 1900 hours.

A search detail was initiated by The West Lampeter Township Police Department and was assisted on scene by members from the Willow Street Fire Company, Conestoga Fire Company, Lancaster County Park Rangers, and PENNSYLVANIA CANINE Search and Rescue Team.

At 2248 hours while searching a wooded area in the vicinity, members of the PENNSYLVANIA CANINE and Rescue Team and First Responders located the male. The male was found to be in stable condition and was then escorted to safety.
