***CASE UPDATE***
On Monday 1 March 2021, Christopher Young entered a plea of “no contest” to the charge of simple assault domestic violence. All parties involved agreed to a plea agreement which dropped the sexual assault and stalking charges. Young was sentenced to 2 years probation, along with paying fines, costs and restitution. Additionally, the sentence prohibits Young from ever owning or possessing a firearm.

On Monday 25 March 2019 the West Lampeter Township Police obtained an arrest warrant for Christopher Young, 33, of Lancaster. The warrant was the result of an investigation into a domestic violence incident that occurred on Monday 11 March 2019.
The case was reviewed by the Lancaster County District Attorney’s office. After reviewing the case, the District Attorney’s office approved charges and those charges were filed by Detective Steven Heinly. Young was charge with one count of Sexual Assault (F-2), one count of Stalking (M-1), and one count of Simple Assault Domestic Violence (M-2).
Young turned himself in to police and was arraigned before District Justice Benner. Bail was set at $50,000 monetary.
