Police Incident and Criminal Investigation Reports
Police Incident and Criminal Investigation Reports are exempt from public release under the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law. These reports may only be released pursuant to a court order or subpoena.
If you require verification that a report was filed, you may request an Incident Verification Letter. This letter will include the report number, incident type, date and time of the incident, a brief synopsis, and the name of the officer who completed the report.
Incident Verification Letters are available for a fee of $10.00 and must be requested in person, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., through the Records Bureau.
