The NLCRPD would like to alert citizens of a scheme going around the local area where an individual asks to use your cell phone for an emergency call to family or along those lines.  The individual is able to access your bank account information via a cash app and completes a withdraw of funds.  Like the old saying - no good deed goes unpunished.   Stay aware, stay informed!
