NLCRPD participates in Lancaster County's Major Crime Investigation Team. This team is comprised of highly trained officers from across the county along with County Detectives from the Lancaster County Office of the District Attorney. The team was created to assist member agencies with major crimes and homicide investigations and is operated under the auspices of the Office of the Lancaster County District Attorney. The NLCRPD team members assigned to this effort are members of the NLCRPD CID Unit or members of the NLCRPD with specialized training in the area of investigations of major or complex crimes.
