Thank you for visiting the Saranac Lake Police Department’s page. The Saranac Lake Police Department is comprised of a team of highly skilled individuals who strive to make Saranac Lake a safe place to live, work, attend school, and visit. Saranac Lake is a great Community with many recreational opportunities such as hiking, biking, skiing at Mt. Pisgah, and other activities. Our Winter Carnival is world famous and features our annual Ice Palace. We also host the world renowned Can-Am Rugby Tournament every summer bringing thousands of players and their families to Town. Our Downtown features the charm of some of the best small communities out there and has many shops and eateries. We are known as the Capital of the Adirondacks and we our certainly proud of that. Our Community is not immune to some of the problems of larger Cities and we work daily to keep drugs and crime from our streets. Our team routinely attends training to stay at the forefront of Law Enforcement and to ensure that our Officers handle every call with professionalism, excellence, and integrity. We are proud to offer bias free professional policing to our diverse community.
