Where passion meets duty, SARPD’s Motor Unit is comprised of Officers who are specially trained to navigate through heavy-traffic areas.  Officers partake in escort duties and enhance public safety through proactive traffic enforcement. As part of their community policing initiatives, the Motor Unit also takes the lead in escorting parades and participating in Motorcycle ride benefits.

By combining their passion for motorcycling with their duty to serve and protect, the SARPD Motor Unit is making a significant impact in the community, one ride at a time.
