You may see York County Regional Police Officers at our local schools more often. Officers have been directed to patrol our schools when classes are in session. You will see our officers parked on school property when doing paperwork, foot patrols etc., when they are not busy handling calls, investigations etc. This directive is has been implemented to help keep our students safe during the school day and to deter anyone who may be thinking of coming to the schools to commit a crime or harm students and/or staff. 

Please do not be alarmed if you see a marked patrol vehicle parked at your local school, the officers are there working on reports etc.
