York County Regional Police Department has 4 locations that residents can dispose of unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications safely and anonymously. 

Accepted – prescription medications, over the counter medications in common dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, ointments and patches.

Not accepted – illegal drugs, needles (including "pens"), lotions or liquids, inhalers, aerosol cans, thermometers, hydrogen peroxide

                                    Northeast District - 5570 Board Rd. Mt. Wolf, PA 17347

                                    Spring Garden District - 340 Tri Hill Rd., York, PA 17403

* Spring Grove Borough Office - 1 Campus Ave. Spring Grove PA 17362

* Windsor Township Building Office - 1480 Windsor Rd. Red Lion, PA 17356
