This application is for individuals that are currently certified police officers.  The officer is ACT 120 certified in Pennsylvania or has a POST certification in another state.  

The York County Regional Police Department can provide salary and paid time off benefits commensurate with the officers completed years of service in law enforcement.  

Applicants will remain confidential and notice to your employer will only occur at the end of the background investigation.  

There are numerous opportunities for specialized training, assignments and advancement:

• Supervision - Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Deputy Chief, Chief of Police

• Training - Vehicle Safety Inspections, Speed timing, DUI Checkpoint, Standardized Field Sobriety, Forensics, Crisis Intervention Training, and De-Escalation.    

• Divisions - Patrol, Detective Bureau, School Resource Officer
