York County Regional Police Department has hired a new lateral officer!!

Michael Rivera, of Red Lion, was hired January 19, 2026. Rivera is a U.S. Army veteran who previously served 9 years with the Baltimore City Police Department. He is currently in our field training program and must complete a 1-year probation before becoming an official member of YCRPD.
