After more than 26 years, Officer Terry Meyers, Jr. is retiring from the York County Regional Police Department, effective today, June 30th, 2026.
Officer Meyers began his law enforcement career with Red Lion Borough Police Department in January 1999. In February 2003, he continued his dedicated service in York County Law Enforcement with York Area Regional Police, which would later merge to become York County Regional Police Department.
Over the course of his career, Officer Meyers has faithfully served in a number of capacities, including, Patrol Officer, Motor Officer, Field Training Officer, and School Resource Officer.
Officer Meyers is considered by many to be a mentor, admirable colleague, and friend.
